The Sandlot Group has proudly supported the following causes as a result of funds raised at private charity wiffle ball tournaments:
Funds were used to provide financial assistance for kids in Family Care Network programs access opportunities to engage in individual or group sports / lessons.
Funds were used to provide swimming lessons and dance lessons to children from low income households where funds were not available to provide access to these types of programs.
Funds were used to purchased and donated over 100 bikes in each of the past two years to the Sheriff’s Office Bicycle Program to underprivileged kids in SLO County
Funds were used to purchase pitching machines and other equipment for SLO Youth Baseball, including equipment to ensure T-Ball remains a viable activity for children in San Luis Obispo.
Funds were used to provide annual coaching clinics and positive coaching certification for local volunteer youth baseball and softball coaches.
Funds will be used to help purchase equipment and build batting cages for SLO Girls Softball Association.
Funds were used to support and coordinate free Major League Players Alumni Association Clinics for kids in San Luis Obispo
Funds were donated to the continued support of San Luis Obispo County Region Chapter of Special Olympics
